At RNN Group we are looking to recruit to a number of teaching and assessing positions this summer. These roles will support our continued growth and innovation as a large education and training provider within South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire, where you will train and develop our learners through expert knowledge and skills.
About The Roles
We have a number of roles which include;
* Apprenticeship Skills Tutor in Brickwork
* Apprenticeship Skills Tutor in Business & Management
* Apprenticeship Skills Tutor in Beauty (part time)
These roles involve regular use of e-portfolios & carrying out on-site performance reviews, teaching and assessments to ensure the next generation of workers are the very best. Using your excellent IT skills, you will maintain accurate records of student progress via tracking systems and e-portfolios.
You will need to be able to build good relationships, manage a caseload of apprentices and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations.
You will…
…be a Confident Tutor/assessor Who Can Teach And Engage With a Wide Variety Of Learners And Bring The Subject Matter To Life In a Creative And Engaging Way. You Will Also Need To Hold
* Experience in creating and delivering programmes
* An Assessor Award
* Be a highly qualified individual within the relevant industry sector
* A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
* An IQA qualification is desirable
* Excellent IT skills
* English and maths at level 2
Department Info
As part of the department of Work based Learning you will report directly to the Curriculum Team Leader/Curriculum Manager. You will play an active role in the curriculum team, working with key stakeholders such as Curriculum Team Leaders, Curriculum Manager, and Curriculum Lecturers etc.
You will also build good working relationships with other key stakeholders in apprenticeship programmes such as the Functional Skills Team and will be able to adopt a flexible and proactive approach to supporting learners undertaking qualifications in the workplace.
