Job Summary:
The Recruitment Group are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG/TIG Welder with experience in working with both mild steel and stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on mild steel and stainless steel components.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
* Set up welding machines based on job requirements and specifications.
* Measure, cut, and join metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness and compliance with quality standards.
* Operate grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
* Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:
* 1+ year of MIG and TIG welding experience, specifically with mild steel and stainless steel.
* Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding welding symbols.
* Strong knowledge of metal properties, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:
* AWS certification or equivalent welding qualification.
* Experience with custom metal fabrication or production welding.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing or ISO quality systems.
