HLTA Role – Temporary (with Potential for Permanent Contract)

A large primary school in the L6 area is currently seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a fixed-term contract starting in September 2026. The role is expected to run throughout the academic year, with the potential to become permanent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cover for PPA time and staff absences across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Experience in both key stages would therefore be highly advantageous.

This role would suit:
A qualified HLTA (or equivalent), or
An Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain further experience in a primary setting before moving into a full-time teaching role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
