Salary:£45,000

Service Care Solutionsare recruiting on behalf ofone of our clientsfor aChildren’s Home Managerto lead a well-established three-bed residential home in Wisbech. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and compassionate leader to join a fully staffed team in a home rated “Good” by Ofsted, supporting three young girls with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Role Overview The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, a passion for high-quality care, and a proven track record in managing EBD homes. With no current staff vacancies and a stable team in place, this role offers the chance to focus on building meaningful relationships and driving continued excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding care and ensure excellent outcomes for young people
* Oversee daily operations and contribute to the strategic development of the home
* Lead a dedicated team and work collaboratively with external professionals
* Act as a positive role model, fostering trust and long-term growth
* Manage staff rotas, training (QCF Level 3), appraisals, and performance reviews
* Oversee service development, budgeting, and financial performance
* Ensure safeguarding and promote the wellbeing of all residents
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting
* Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
* Strong understanding of The Children Act 1989 and Children’s Home Regulations
* Proven experience in budget and financial management
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to provide on-call support
