A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support for students in elementary grades K-4 within a dynamic school setting in the Cambridge, MA area. Responsibilities:
* Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-4 students with diverse communication needs.
* Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and targeted intervention plans.
* Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines.
* Utilize recent school-based experience to adapt therapy techniques that support academic and social development.
* Ensure compliance with licensing and Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) standards.
Qualifications:
* Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology; candidates in Clinical Fellowship (CF) status are not eligible.
* Valid Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification.
* Recent experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged children.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Availability for full-time work (37.5 hours per week) during the 2023-2024 school year.
