What can I achieve and what will I be accountable for whilst completing a placement at Pfizer?
Pfizer provides you with the opportunity to work with experts and seasoned professionals across the pharmaceutical industry. Pfizer is a global leading biopharmaceutical organization which has a wealth of opportunities available across a variety of departments.
As an IIS Undergraduate, youll work alongside experts in analytics, strategy, and market research within one of the worlds leading biopharmaceutical companies. Youll:
Drive strategic decisions by supporting competitive intelligence and market analysis.
Manipulate and interpret data from multiple sources (e.g., MIDAS) to uncover trends.
Refresh and maintain Tableau dashboards to track brand performance.
Support primary and secondary market research to inform brand strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical, and global IIS teams.
This placement will strengthen your skills in:
Communication liaising with stakeholders across the business.
Multi-tasking managing diverse projects simultaneously.
Leadership owning key deliverables and influencing decisions.
Youll leave with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, strategic analytics, and the role insights play in shaping healthcare outcomes.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Skills:
Flexibility adapt to changing business priorities.
Accuracy ensure data integrity and precision.
Accountability take ownership of projects.
Knowledge:
Excel (advanced preferred)
PowerPoint (for impactful presentations)
Basic statistics/regression analysis
Motivation:
Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Curious and eager to ask the right questions.
Passionate about improving patient outcomes.
When can I start?
Placements will start on 1st September 2026 and will run for 12 months.
