A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Care Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Spixworth, Norwich area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers. This care home offers residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire the team to deliver experiences to residents that promote choice and independence and make a positive difference to their lives
* Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct and care plans are adhered to
* Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, staff welfare and training and develop an excellent reputation
* Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives and visitors to enhance the residents’ quality of life
* Deputise in the overall management of the care home including production of reports, budgets and Quality of Life monitoring
* Take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents and visitors to the Home and alerting the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks
* Ensure you attend training days and courses to maintain learning records and support staff development
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

* Salary: GBP 35,000 per annum
