SEND TA SEN Teaching Assistant Full time Immediate Start Long term HackneyProspero Teaching are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will support students either one-on-one or in group settings throughout the school day. You will work with children aged 5-11 who have identified SEN needs. Your role will involve supporting pupils in the classroom, participating in specialist mentoring sessions, and assisting during some break times. Some students may exhibit more challenging behaviours, and the school will provide training in effective interventions and strategies. As a key member of the child's support team, you will collaborate closely with the SENCO, senior management, and external professionals such as therapists, healthcare providers, and CAMHS. The school is an SEN school in the Hackney area, Homerton as has fantastic transport links. Job Responsibilities Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties and EAL.
