Our client is seeking an experienced C# Strategy Developer to join its Front Office Trading Technology team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Head of Trading Desk and senior traders to design and develop strategic trading software solutions that directly influence trading performance. Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and enhance C# applications that support and drive real-time trading strategies.
* Collaborate directly with traders, quantitative analysts, and the Head of Trading Desk to develop tools and analytics that enable informed decision-making.
* Build and maintain high-performance, low-latency systems supporting execution, pricing, and strategy development.
* Manage the full software development lifecycle—from concept and design through to deployment and production support.
* Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks, ensuring systems scale effectively with evolving business needs.
* Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our client’s front office trading systems, prioritizing reliability, efficiency, and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
* A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience developing server-side applications in C#/.NET.
* Strong understanding of object-oriented design, concurrency, and real-time systems.
* Proven experience in delivering high-performance or low-latency applications.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with traders, quantitative researchers, and technology leaders.
* Previous experience in a front office environment or with trading system development is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with Python or WPF/MVVM frameworks is advantageous.
