Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) projects within highways infrastructure
* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project growth and delivery
* Ensure technical excellence and safety throughout the design process
* Oversee resource planning and forecasting to meet project deadlines and budgets
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, in line with Jacobs' safety culture
* Drive quality and innovation in ITS engineering design
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in the design and management of ITS or traffic signal projects
* Strong leadership abilities and the capability to lead a design team independently
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
* In-depth knowledge of highway design standards and their practical application
* Experience managing the financial aspects and cost control of engineering projects
* Professional Membership with a recognised engineering Institution or Institute (e.g., IET, CIHT, ICE)
