Description Priory Mount Eveswell is looking to recruit a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join the team. This is a bank role. Mount Eveswell is located in Newport, Wales. The home provides residential and nursing support for 16 males and females with an acquired brain injury (ABI) and other neurological conditions, including those with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) or a progressive neurological condition (PNC), including motor neurone disease (MND), multiple sclerosis (MS) or Huntington's disease. What you'll be doing You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. As Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. Develops and maintains a good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries. Help promote and maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient / relatives and carers. Ensure service users are gaining a quality service that is value for their money. To receive and convey information from telephone or personal enquiries in a courteous manner and ensure all persons visiting the ward are greeted and assisted in a welcoming and supportive manner.
