We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Engineerto join our Hard FM team at HMRC Glasgow, East Kilbride, G79 1AA. Reporting to the Hard FM Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day maintenance across a regional cluster, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery at all times.
This is a hands-on role maintaining modern commercial facilities while supporting 100% statutory compliance and outstanding client service.
What You'll Do
* Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across M&E systems
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
* Ensure statutory compliance and accurate CAFM/CMMS updates
* Work with subcontractors and support minor works/projects
* Follow H&S, RAMS and COSHH requirements at all times
* Complete helpdesk tasks within SLA and escalate risks where required
* Support apprentices and maintain professional client relationships
* Participate in on-call and occasional out-of-hours rota
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical (or equivalent)
* City & Guilds Inspection & Testing Level 3
* Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
* Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and safe systems of work
* Full UK driving licence
* IT literate (Microsoft Office & CMMS systems)
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable:
* Experience in Hard FM / Property Maintenance
* Previous AP/CP appointment
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations
* Experience working with subcontractors
