Looking to join a Band 6 community role within an ‘Outstanding’ CQC‑rated Trust? Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Dietitian to join our Community Dietetics Adults Team. Based at Trinity House, Ashford, this role offers a varied and rewarding workload across community settings, where you can see the real difference your dietetic advice makes to patients’ lives. The post is full time, with flexible and part‑time working considered. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with a specialist interest in Gastroenterology, or those wishing to develop in this area. You will be part of a large, friendly, and supportive Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Service within KCHFT, employing over 50 dietetic staff across four teams working across Kent. We are a dynamic, forward‑thinking community service that values innovation, collaboration, and staff wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Delivering face‑to‑face outpatient clinics
* Undertaking home visits to support patients in their own homes
* Running virtual clinics and virtual care home clinics, including remote working from home where appropriate
* Managing a varied community caseload and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
* Contributing to and delivering patient group education sessions
* Participating in service development and quality improvement (QI) projects
