Artemis Human Capital are recruiting for a Procurement Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturer is expanding across cosmetics, wellness, and specialised products. The successful candidate will lead the purchasing function, strengthen the supply chain, and support new product development across multiple categories. Role Overview The Procurement Manager will take full ownership of sourcing and purchasing activities across raw materials, packaging, and consumables. The role is responsible for ensuring continuity of supply, cost control, supplier performance, and full compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Operations, Technical, and Commercial teams to support manufacturing efficiency and margin stability. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the procurement function, establishing clear processes and performance standards. Manage all purchasing and stock control to ensure uninterrupted supply to production. Build, manage, and negotiate with a reliable supplier base across UK, EU, and global markets. Own product costings used for quotations, supporting Commercial teams with new product proposals. Ensure all materials meet GMP, technical, and regulatory requirements. Drive cost savings initiatives, dual sourcing strategies, and supply risk reduction. Experience Required Senior-level procurement experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong background in raw materials or packaging sourcing, ideally within chemicals, cosmetics, or FMCG. Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier performance. Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost modelling. Comfortable collaborating with Technical and Quality teams on regulated materials. Contact Nicky Strutt
