Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Role description
The Barnsley Plant is currently seeking to recruit 3 Mechanical Maintenance Engineer’s, to carry out mechanical repair and maintenance work on factory services and equipment to maintain efficiency of the plant.
Responsibilities:
·Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM)
·Attending Breakdowns
·General Factory Mechanical Maintenance
·Provide support for critical plant functions as and when required
·Communicate with colleagues and management to establish and maintain a well-informed team
·Work as part of an effective team to manage & control the workload throughout the shift
Required skills / qualifications:
·Gained a recognised Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
·Good understanding of the production and packaging processes
·Have good attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
·Ability to produce and read engineering drawings
What we offer
1. Salary based on grade 7 of the harmonised pay scales. Minimum £35,000 - £37,787 max
