The Regional Vice President (RVP) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all projects within their assigned region. Responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and client satisfaction, the RVP oversees transmission and distribution (T&D), substation, and renewable energy projects. The RVP plays a key role in expanding market presence, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and profitable projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
* Develop and execute a regional business strategy focused on growth in T&D, substation, and renewable energy markets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share and revenue.
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships to foster repeat business and regional partnerships.
* Collaborate with the President and executive team to set annual growth targets and deliver measurable results.
Safety & Quality Leadership
* Champion a safety-first culture ensuring all projects adhere to company and regulatory safety standards.
* Set clear safety expectations for all teams and hold leadership accountable for maintaining a zero-incident workplace.
* Ensure quality management processes are followed, with regular reviews of project execution to meet or exceed client expectations.
* Support training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives for safety and quality.
Operational Management
* Oversee daily project execution, resource allocation, and financial performance across the region.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
* Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for operational improvement.
Storm Restoration
* Coordinate and support storm restoration efforts as a contractor to utility clients, ensuring rapid mobilization of crews, equipment, and materials to assist with restoring power and services.
* Work closely with utility partners, local authorities, and project teams to align efforts with utility emergency response plans and priorities.
* Ensure all storm restoration support activities meet utility requirements and comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5–6 direct reports, including project managers and field leadership.
* Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
* Ensure all regional leaders receive ongoing training in leadership, safety, and technical excellence.
* Serve as the primary liaison between regional operations and the President.
* Provide regular updates on financial results, safety metrics, business development activity, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
* 10+ years of leadership experience in utility construction, including T&D, substations, or renewables.
* Demonstrated success in growing a regional business, managing P&L, and delivering large-scale projects safely and profitably.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams while maintaining a strong client focus.

Travel
Up to 40–50% travel within the assigned region to project sites, client meetings, and company offices.
