Quantity Surveyor – Glazing

Responsibilities
* Quantity Surveyor position dealing with windows, glazing, and doors
* Meeting with clients for site visits and building relationships
* Interpreting technical drawings, generating and following up quotations
* Producing formal quotations to customers
* Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs, allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
* Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
* Contacting customers, dealing with queries, and providing additional technical information
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
* Working on projects ranging between £100k – £3.5m
Qualifications
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Experience/exposure within glazing, windows, curtain walling, or related disciplines
* Proven experience working with clients, tendering and managing bids
* Knowledge of UK Building Regulations
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* Excellent planning, organisation, time management skills
