Youll support adults with learning disabilities, working with a wonderfully diverse group of people each with their own personalities, strengths, and support needs.From helping with daily living activities to offering emotional support and encouragement, your role will be varied, rewarding, and truly meaningful.Please note: This role is drivers only due to the nature of the service.What were looking forWed love to hear from you if you have:A genuine passion for supporting others to live their best livesStrong communication skills and the ability to build positive, meaningful relationshipsFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidaysA positive, empathetic, and person-centred approach when supporting individuals with learning disabilitiesContract optionsWe offer flexibility to suit your lifestyle:Full-time: 37.5 hours per weekPart-time: Flexible hours based on your availabilityRelief: Flexible working with no set hours or shiftsShift patternsAll our services provide 24-hour care .Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, so you can still plan your personal and social life with confidence!Day shifts: Between 07:00 22:00Sleep-ins: 22:00 07:00Sleep-in payment: Enhanced flat-rate payment of £64.20 per sleep-in*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.Our commitment to inclusionMencap is an equitable, diverse and inclusive organisation.
