Responsibilities
1. Manage design coordination, including review of contractor drawings and technical queries
2. Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements
3. Identify and manage defects and non-conformances (NCRs) through to close-out
4. Review and approve contractor permits and site documentation
5. Coordinate with Construction Managers to resolve delivery constraints
6. Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of works
7. Monitor progress against programme and validate reported activity
8. Review RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and CEMP documentation
9. Provide technical input on construction methodologies
10. Support the Project Manager with Early Warning Notices (EWNs) and Compensation Events (CEs)
Requirements
11. Proven experience delivering fit-out projects, ideally within aviation or transport infrastructure
12. Strong understanding of design coordination and document control systems (e.g. Aconex)
13. Ability to manage and resolve technical design and construction queries
14. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
15. Willingness to work on site at Stansted Airport up to three days per week
Desirable Experience
16. Previous airport or airside project experience
17. Civil engineering background, including groundworks and piling
18. Experience with structural works, such as steel frames, bridges, or heavy lifting operations
