Supervisor- Blockline

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Daventry, managing the daily activities of a production team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, here are some of the ways you will make an impact:

1. Supervision of the daily activities of a production unit or teams.

2. Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members housekeeping, and meeting production targets.

3. Works cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

4. Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments.

5. Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities.

6. Coaches and mentors team members. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

7. Continuous Process Improvement: Recognize areas in which processes can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce costs and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.

8. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Examine HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting, and avoiding repeated incidents.

9. Health and Safety Fundamentals: Champion and model proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting, and participating in actions to improve health and safety to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

10. Supervisory experience in production/manufacturing environment.

11. Previous solid experience in team management:

13. Team Building: Build strong-identity teams that apply diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.

14. Effective Communication: Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

15. Decision Quality and Directs Work: Provide direction, delegate, and remove obstacles to get work done.

16. Work Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours as this would be a shift rotation role.

17. Additional : Office/IT knowledge and exposure

You will be rewarded with:

18. £35,000 - £38,400 (depending on experience)
