The Role: As Technical Administrator, you’ll support the Technical and Quality teams by managing documentation, coordinating audits, and maintaining systems that ensure our products meet the highest standards. This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment where accuracy and efficiency are key. Note: This is a fixed term role, expected to continue until 31st March 2026
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update technical documentation and records (e.g. specifications, certificates, audits).
* Support internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up actions.
* Assist with traceability and product recall procedures.
* Manage supplier approval documentation and ensure compliance.
* Monitor and report on non-conformances and corrective actions.
* Maintain databases and systems for quality and compliance tracking.
* Liaise with production, quality, and technical teams to ensure smooth communication.
* Support the implementation of food safety and quality standards (e.g. BRC, HACCP).
* Collate and submit customer documentation and questionnaires.
* Provide general administrative support to the Technical department.
The Ideal Candidate: We’re Looking For Someone With
* Previous experience in a technical or quality admin role (ideally in food manufacturing).
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
* Understanding of food safety standards and technical terminology.
