In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. This position is vital to our mission of delivering outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
* Design and prepare a diverse menu that reflects seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
* Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality in all dishes served.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste in the kitchen.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations.
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure smooth operations.
