Has in-depth knowledge of best practices within the overall finance function. Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables and intercompany. Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services. Ensuring best practices implemented within the finance function. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within finance. Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Uses judgment to make decisions or solve highly complex tasks or problems that impact the finance function. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Required Qualifications Professional accounting qualification Significant experience in controllership Experience of leading accounting and finance teams Established project management skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Working experience of SAP and Excel Desired Characteristics UK Statutory and or US GAAP accounting & audit experience Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
