Salary £28,000 - £30,000 plus overtime, on‑call & benefits
Metro Rod works with the likes of Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Founded in 1983, we are a leading provider of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. Our services are provided by over 60 franchisees across the UK.
Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, we also offer Willow Pumps and Filta, focusing on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions.
What does it entail?
* Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers’ drains
* Operation of High‑Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
* Carrying out surveys
* Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
* Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications
* Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
What experience do we look for?
* Experience in commercial & domestic drainage – ideally
* Experience in ground working/construction/civils
* Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge
* Have a positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
* Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
* Full UK driving licence
