BEAR is currently an independent coffee, kitchen and bar outlet in Uttoxeter. With A second site due to open shortly in Derby.
We are looking for a motivated chef, someone with a passion for fresh, seasonal food who is keen to add value to our company. You must have a great attitude, self-motivation and a willingness to learn within a fast growing and dynamic independent business.
Currently Bear is the no.1 place to eat in Uttoxeter, holding a 5-star rating on TripAdvisor. Our Menu is varied and growing, from Pancakes in the morning to Flatbread pizzas and cheese boards in the evenings.
The Role
As the Chef we expect you to be a foodie, have a great eye for detail and presentation and to be skilled in multi-tasking and working well under pressure. In return you get creative input and a real say in the food you produce, working closely with our Head of Food and Directors to keep things fresh and bring inspiring new or seasonal dishes to the menu.
This Role will suit a Passionate Head chef or an experienced Sous chef looking to step up and develop within a multisite kitchen team. There is real potential to influence BEAR's menu, both in Uttoxeter and across our sites, with full control of specials/event menus, development days to roll out menus across our estate.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who can keep their cool, have fun and make amazing food, fast and under pressure.
We will also be asking you to support our rollout of the concept across our growing portfolio of sites.
This is a full-time role, salary negotiable dependent on experience.
Start date 1st of January. however, we can accommodate immediate start if required.
