The Role – Bolton Kia has one of the busiest Service / Aftersales Departments in the UK and w e have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Service team. Working in a team of 12 Vehicle Technicians, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Main Duties and Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on findings. Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues. Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards. Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Requirements Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician. Level 3 Light Vehicle Technician Qualification or equivalent Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license.
