Steer Consultant Programme
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the world? At Steer, we are seeking talented and motivated individuals who are passionate about driving change and providing powerful solutions to make a measurable difference - to our clients, the communities we work in, and the world we share.
From your very first week, you will tackle real-world challenges that make a difference in our communities and industries. You will be expected to deliver the full range of consultancy work and develop your consultancy skills through a combination of on-the-job learning and a structured development and mentoring programme.
What We Offer
Throughout the first 18 months, you will collaborate with industry experts to address complex problems. You will experience the following:
* A tailored programme that provides you with the skills needed for a successful career in consultancy. This is delivered through formal classroom training, induction sessions, and on-job learning opportunities. Over 18 months, you’ll complete three rotations with different teams and projects to develop a wide-ranging skill set, build networks, and gain a comprehensive understanding of our business.
* Mentoring from senior colleagues to develop your skills.
* A dedicated "buddy" who will help you settle into life at Steer.
* A career development manager and programme sponsor who supports your cohort throughout the programme and your professional development through coaching and career progression.
Requirements
Applicants should have a degree (2:1 or equivalent) with all subjects considered, preferably with a quantitative or research element, although this is not essential.

A Note On How We Use AI At Steer
AI supports elements of our work where it is suitable, used with care to prevent bias or inaccuracies, and where clients permit it. Human judgement, analysis, and accountability remain key. We expect the same from applicants; AI may support your preparation, but you must remain the author and accountable.
What You Can Do
Prepare thoroughly before applying or completing assessments, including reviewing instructions, practising sample questions, and refreshing your knowledge. You may use AI to help structure, word, or tailor your CV, but it must not invent content.
What You Must Not Do
* Using AI to generate your CV, answers, or any assessment responses.
* Getting help from another person during assessments.
* Submitting material that isn’t your own work.
Using outside assistance, including generative AI, to complete assessments will result in disqualification and removal from the recruitment process.
If you require any reasonable adjustments to support accessibility, please let us know so we can support you appropriately.
