Overview
This is a great time to join The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as the Trust Speciality Registrar (ST3-5 LEVEL). It’s a full-time position covering the service between Monday – Friday core hours to start asap for 12 months.
We are redeveloping the hospital to provide a new state-of-the-art facility for the residents of Hillingdon and beyond, supporting the best in delivery of healthcare and future readiness. Responsibilities
* Routine obstetric and gynaecology ward management and outpatient clinics with consultant supervision.
* Role involves a mixture of general gynaecology and obstetric duties and participation in theatre.
* Participation in the Day Assessment and Triage Units and the Early Pregnancy Unit.
* Ultrasound training is available and encouraged.
* Rotation through the gynaecology oncology team and active participation in audit.
* Opportunity to participate in specialist interest clinics within the department (Obstetric Medicine, Fetal Medicine, Rapid Access Clinic, Outpatient Hysteroscopy).
Requirements / Qualifications
* The post is suitable for doctors who have completed at least two years of training as a ST in obstetrics and gynaecology in the UK (ST3 and above).
* Proficiency in the management of all normal pregnancies and their delivery, with supervised training available in abnormal obstetrics and gynaecology.
* Expected to undertake a mixture of general gynaecology and obstetric duties.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. Trust services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
