Position: Indirect Procurement Category Manager – 12 month FTC
Location: UK (Wolverhampton) – Hybrid (3 days in office)
Salary & Benefits: £70,000 - £85,000 + Bonus + Strong Pension Scheme + Life Assurance + Private Medical + 28 Days Holiday

With ambitious growth plans and exciting initiatives, they are expanding their team and seeking a motivated Indirect Procurement Category Manager for a 12-month fixed term.
Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic procurement activities across indirect spend categories. This is a hands-on opportunity for a proactive individual to make an immediate impact and support key projects during a critical business phase.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to design and implement procurement strategies
* Support the procurement team with daily operations and initiatives
* Develop and drive category plans aligned with business objectives
* Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring through KPIs and SLAs
* Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for seamless delivery
Role & Responsibilities:
* Manage indirect procurement categories such as HR, Legal, Finance, Insurance, Travel, Facilities Management, or other Corporate Services
* Apply category management principles and best practices
* Experience in a similar sector is a plus but not essential
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
