Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CNC 5 Axis Machinist to join a busy and well-invested machine shop, working on complex, tight-tolerance components in a high-quality environment.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines with a strong focus on 5-axis machining Program parts offline using CAM software Produce complex, high-precision components including moulds, inserts, fixtures, and composite-related parts Edit and optimise CNC programs to ensure efficiency and accuracy Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Inspect machined components to ensure they meet quality and tolerance requirements Carry out routine machine maintenance and checks Follow SOPs and quality procedures consistently Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as they arise Maintain accurate production and tooling records Adhere to all health & safety requirements Support the wider production team as required What Theyre Looking For: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 5-axis machining expertise Strong CAM programming, setup, and operating experience Good understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability Comfortable working in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset Flexible approach to overtime when required What They Offer: Competitive salary dependent on experience Overtime opportunities Long-term, stable role within a growing high-tech manufacturing business Opportunity to work on technically challenging, high-value components Modern machinery and a professional working environment By applying to this job advertisement, you confirm you have read and understood our Data Privacy Statement and give Bolt Technical authorisation to hold your provided data. xxuwjjq
