Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistants (TA) Location: Dinnington (S25) Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Passionate about empowering students to succeed through guidance, encouragement, and personalised support. GSL Education are engaging experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistants to provide personalised support for students with additional learning needs, with opportunities available across schools situated in the S25 area surrounding Dinnington. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will support a designated student’s learning, build confidence, and encourage independence, while fostering a positive and inclusive environment that helps them succeed. Prime Responsibilities: Deliver tailored one-to-one support to meet the specific needs of individual students. Assist with classroom activities, learning resources, and tasks as directed by teachers. Encourage engagement, independence, and personal development. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and relevant staff. Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to support learning objectives. Requirements of 1:1 Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting. Patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate learners. Ability to work independently while supporting a student’s learning needs. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
