An exciting opportunity has arisen for Systems & Verification Engineers to join Rolls-Royce Submarines. Our Systems Engineering and Verification Engineers are responsible for ensuring oversight of our products to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements. This is an integration role where you will work to enable all engineering teams through coaching and support to successfully develop robust, verified engineering solutions against validated customer requirements.

Hybrid working allows our employees to balance time between the office, home, or other remote locations. It is an informal, locally managed, discretionary arrangement. Employees are expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you'll be doing:
1. Interface with external and internal customers to elicit and validate all stakeholder requirements, including business, technical customers, and partners.
2. Set the Systems Engineering and Verification approach for engineering programs through relevant management plans.
3. Ensure sufficient rigor in requirements validation and verification to mitigate technical risks.
4. Develop product verification strategies, structured verification plans, and Product Development Plans.
5. Manage the creation of substantiation evidence, clearance/acceptance documentation that meets project demands.
6. Support and coach the team regarding Systems Engineering, Validation, and Verification activities, promoting correct V&V behaviors within the project.
Who we are looking for:
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of Systems Engineering.
* Experience in the Nuclear industry is preferred but not essential.
* Experience with relevant SE software applications e.g., DOORS / CAMEO.
* Good communication and presentation skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Proven delivery record with understanding of program management.
