Job Summary
Waterfield's is a well-established Northwest business with an annual turnover of around £15 Million, we manufacture bakery products for wholesale customers and also sell through our own 43 retail shops.
We have an exciting opportunity for the correct candidate to join the team as the company continues to grow and evolve.
We are seeking to recruit a sales and purchase ledger clerk to work within the established finance team onsite in our Leigh head office.
Responsibilities will include:
· Purchase Ledger.
· Sales Ledger.
· Retail sales takings.
· Invoice processing.
· Supplier payments.
· Supplier statement reconciliations.
· Dealing with invoice queries from customers and suppliers.
· Cashbook.
· Maintaining ingredient prices in the bespoke system.
· General office duties.
This is a busy, hands-on environment but the right candidate will have the opportunity to have an exciting and varied role within the finance team.
Skills
Good IT skills (particularly Excel) and experience of accounting software (Pegasus, Sage or similar) are essential.
Experience - Experience in a similar role would be preferable and qualifications will be considered alongside experience.
The hours are Monday to Friday within office hours with a degree of flexibility based on the needs of the business
