Job Title: Revenue Assurance Officer - Self-Pay
Location: Prestatyn, North Wales
Annual Salary Up to £28,099.50 (Dependant on Experience) plus bonus up to £250 per month

Shifts: Full Time (37.5 hours), Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM

We are looking for a Revenue Assurance Officer to join our Revenue Assurance team based in Prestatyn. Reporting to Self Pay Team Leader, the candidate will assist the group wide management of recording, resolution and payment of accounts that remain unpaid following treatment by the payor or accounts in a credit status. The role will involve frequent interaction with facility staff and Senior Management, Clinical Teams and, internal and external teams to assist in the resolution of the accounts.

What you’ll do:

1. Contacts & resolves underpaid claims relating to bulk issues identified with specific self-funding patients

2. Performs appropriate follow up with Payer and gains commitment for payment.

3. Identifies and communicates contract related issues to Contracts leadership as appropriate.

4. Collaboratively works with 3rd party debt collection agency for self pay invoices

5. Reviews self pay invoices that are on hold status due to queries/complaints

What you’ll bring:

6. Very strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner with stakeholders up to senior management level.

7. Team player and ability to build effective working relationships

8. Working collaboratively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.

9. Experience of presenting financial information to non-finance professionals

10. Ability to demonstrate high level of enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.

11. Demonstrated analytical skills and excellent computer/systems skills with demonstrated spreadsheet and database expertise

12. Demonstrative IT skills within MS office to include Excel
