We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Winchester, a category B Prison located in Winchester.
Hours
Bank - Weekdays and weekends. The hours are 07:30-17:30.
Salary
Weekdays £21.76 and Weekends £23.61

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide outstanding quality-based, patient-centred care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
* Focussing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
* Deliver non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards, including timely administration of medicines and analysing cost-effective prescribing as defined through our health in justice medicines policy.
* Be a real difference-maker by working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

* NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent

Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
