Job Overview
We are hiring for the role of Vice President/Analyst in the Sourcing and Vendor Management (SVM) practice. This UK-based position will drive revenue, support client relationships, and lead cross-functional collaboration across service lines. The role is ideal for someone with consulting/research and procurement experience, especially in outsourced and tech-enabled services categories.
Responsibilities
* Lead and expand Everest Group’s market presence with sourcing and VMO practitioners across various industries.
* Serve as a strategic advisor on sourcing, supplier management, category management, operating model design, and supply risk.
* Provide expert briefings and identify opportunities for deeper support in tech, BPO, and related categories.
* Participate in revenue generation activities, including client engagement, RFP responses, and proposal development.
* Stay updated on procurement technologies and guide research creation.
* Lead research-based consulting projects on sourcing and vendor management.
* Collaborate with a global team, ensuring alignment and delivery excellence.
* Advocate for client needs and serve as a leader for cross-service projects.
* Contribute to industry events and thought leadership to elevate Everest Group’s brand.
* Innovate and develop new offerings based on market trends.
Candidate Profile
* 10+ years in strategic sourcing, vendor management, or procurement consulting/research.
* Experience in consulting, enterprise procurement, or managed procurement services.
* Familiarity with outsourced services and technology sourcing best practices.
* Proven client-facing experience with a sales mindset.
* Comfort engaging with C-suite stakeholders.
* Industry experience in banking, financial services, insurance, healthcare, life sciences, telecom, energy, or high tech.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment and proactively seek opportunities.
* Experience with offshore delivery models is a plus.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher preferred.
* Strong executive presence, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proven leadership of virtual teams.
* Willingness to travel up to 25%, domestic and international.
