Motus Commercials is the largest DAF Trucks Dealer Group in Europe and the largest Independent Commercial Vehicle Dealer Group in the UK. We are seeking a fully skilled HGV Class 1 Driver/General Hand to join our friendly team at our York dealership. This role involves working:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

As a Class 1 Driver/General Hand at our York dealership, you should demonstrate:
* Experience as an HGV Class 1 driver (essential)
* High levels of customer service
* Knowledge of the local area
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Experience loading and unloading vehicles
* Experience working in a workshop environment
Main duties include:
* Providing thorough service to internal and external customers to ensure vehicles are roadworthy quickly
* Carrying out final checks and presenting vehicles for MOT testing
* Collection and delivery of customer vehicles as required
* Assisting with service inspections and repairs
* Conducting road tests
* Respecting company property and assets
