Your duties will include:
1. Working with the Head of Workforce Planning and Information to implement and roll out Electronic Staff Record Self-Service and be responsible for its maintenance going forward, working in collaboration with the Resourcing team to ensure the link between ESR and TRAC is used correctly and effectively
2. Enabling HR and Workforce related technology within the organisation to minimise the use of paper, increase efficiencies in our processes and free up clinical time
3. Providing day-to-day line management and professional support to the Workforce Information Analyst
4. Being the expert user of ESR for the organisation and one of the ‘go-to’ people for technical ESR queries or errors on the system
5. Retrieving data from ESRs ‘Disco Ad-Hoc’ reporting system including writing of bespoke reports and any other workforce related reports as and when required
6. Having overall responsibility for the expenses system and be able to run reports and resolve issues relating to expenses
7. Continuously supporting and implementing the use of innovative workforce related technology within the organisation, including the use of mobile phone apps, employee self-service and electronic HR forms
8. Providing day-to-day management and leadership to the Workforce Information Analyst, ensuring they are supported, valued, developed in line with organisation policies and procedures, including appraisals, workload supervision and conducting 1:1s etc.
9. Being a point of contact for data and advice to the Senior HR Advisors and HR Business Partners to support them in their work
The successful candidate should have:
10. Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience in a related field (eg: analytics, computing, statistics)
11. Professional IMT qualification or equivalent experience
12. Experience of collating and analysing statistical information and producing reports for non-statistical professionals to aid strategic planning and performance measurement, highlighting trends, problems and suggesting solutions
13. Experience of working with ESR workforce database
14. Experience of the application of data extraction, analytics and presentation of findings
15. Ability to explain complex information and make recommendations based on information
