We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Politics 08 - 1.0 FTE. Salary: SFC range 1 – 9 for teaching staff (dependent on experience), currently £33,465 - £51,714, reduced pro rata to £26,772 - £41,371 for 0.8 FTE. This post is suitable for NQTs and experienced teachers; trainee/secondary teachers are also welcome to apply. Start date: 20th August 2026. Faculty Overview The Social Sciences Faculty deliver a range of level 3 courses, including A-levels and BTEC Applied. We offer A-levels in Psychology, Sociology, History, Politics and Law as well as BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificates in Applied Psychology and Applied Law. As many of those we teach opt for more than one Social Sciences course, the teaching team work collaboratively to ensure that students receive an enjoyable, varied and enriched learning experience allowing progression to higher education or employment.
