Quality Assurance Manager

Milton Keynes | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Salary
Up to £80,000 per annum
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead and evolve the QA function across both manual and automated testing
* Drive a shift‑left testing approach, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle
* Develop and implement new QA strategies, working closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams to embed quality into delivery
* Own and deliver the test automation strategy, supporting the transition from manual to automated testing
* Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to improve quality outcomes
* Ensure QA best practices are consistently applied across Agile teams
* Report on quality metrics, risks, and improvements to senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience as a QA Manager / Test Manager
* Strong background in manual and automated testing
* Experience leading QA transformation initiatives, particularly manual‑to‑automation transitions
* Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD environments
* Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing QA teams
* Confident communicator with experience working across multiple stakeholders
* Passion for building a positive, quality‑first culture
