We have a great opportunity for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join a growing IT business, working on a mix of escalations, project delivery and technical ownership across infrastructure, cloud and security.
What you’ll be doing
* Acting as the escalation point for complex service desk tickets
* Delivering projects both remotely and onsite
* Troubleshooting advanced issues across servers, networks, security and cloud platforms
* Working across Microsoft 365, Entra, virtualisation, scripting and endpoint management
* Managing and maintaining documentation, SOPs and technical guides
* Providing mentorship to junior engineers and supporting wider service improvement
* Ensuring best practice across security, compliance, communication and client experience
What we’re looking for
* Experience within a similar role
* Strong experience with server administration, networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs), and cloud technologies
* Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and infrastructure
* Understanding of security principles, compliance and vulnerability management
* Excellent communication skills and xkybehq a strong client-focused mindset
* Full UK driving licence
