Looking to shape life-changing education programmes? This role offers the chance to lead a well-established team, supporting young people with special educational needs (SEN) to gain the skills and confidence they need for employment. You’ll oversee a Programme Coordinator (with their own team of Tutors, Job Coaches and Employer Engagement staff) to make sure Supported Internships deliver real results.
These programmes combine classroom learning, functional skills and job coaching alongside real work placements – giving learners the best chance of moving into paid jobs.
In this role you will:
Lead and coach Programme Coordinators to deliver engaging, high-quality internships
Ensure classroom delivery, functional skills and job coaching meet the highest standards
Track programme performance and maintain compliance with Ofsted and ESFA requirements
Build external relationships to boost referrals and create employer partnerships
Use data and insights to identify improvements and drive positive learner outcomesWhat we’re looking for:
Experience managing teams within an Ofsted-regulated education setting
Ideally, a background in SEND and/or employment support (not essential)
Could suit someone who has worked as a Curriculum Manager, Quality Manager, Centre Manager, SEND Lead or Deputy HeadWhy join?
