We’re looking for a proactive and detail-orientedBusiness Readiness Managerto join our Risk, Controls and Readiness Workstream at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc.
Please note, internally this role is formally known asTechnology Controls Assurance Manager.
What you’ll be doing
This is an exciting time to join the team, as in this role, you'll coordinate readiness activities across multiple delivery workstreams and functional areas.
The role is critical to ensuring that business units are fully prepared for the integration of Tesco Bank and Barclays Bank UK Plc, with robust tracking, validation and stakeholder engagement processes in place. You'll be working on the following:
1. Outcome Definition and Tracking
2. Providing check and challenge to partner business units
3. Programme Readiness Tracking an Assessment
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Governance
5. Documentation and Evidence Management
6. Progress Assurance
We need you to have:
7. Multiple year's experience of conducting assurance in financial services
8. Extensive experienceworking with stakeholders at Director and managing Director level, stakeholder management and communication skills
9. Ability to interpret and challenge evidence, ensuring completeness and appropriateness
10. Familiarity with governance frameworks and Lines of Defence models
11. Comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving requirements
12. Proficiency in SharePoint and readiness tracking tools
13. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
And if you have any of these, even better:
14. Experience of assuring integration programmes
15. Experience in Risk and Control Management
16. Proven experience in Change Management, or programme delivery roles
