Acuity Associates are partnering with a manufacturing organisation in Bristol to seek an experienced Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled finance leader to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial and strategic direction of the organisation.
This role is ideal for a finance executive with a proven track record in Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation, financial leadership, and business transformation. Beyond traditional CFO responsibilities, the organisation is seeking someone who can temporarily step up to cover Managing Director duties when required, providing strategic and operational leadership at critical times.
Additionally, experience in preparing businesses for a successful exit—whether through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, or another strategic process—is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all financial operations, ensuring strong financial controls, compliance, and efficiency.
* Lead the Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation, ensuring seamless integration and optimisation.
* Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans that enhance long-term business value.
* Step into the Managing Director role as required, ensuring operational and strategic continuity.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven CFO experience, ideally within the manufacturing or similar sectors.
* Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
* Ability to step up into Managing Director responsibilities when required.
* Demonstrated success in business exits, M&A, or private equity transactions.
* Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to financial leadership.
* Location: Onsite, Bristol.
