MET Technician - Milton Keyes Accident Repair Centre
1. Salary: up to £45,000 (£22 an hour)
2. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm,
3. Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm (39.5 hours per week)
4. Overtime Available
Our client is a leading automotive repair center based in Milton Keynes. They specialise in providing high-quality vehicle repair services, utilising cutting-edge technology and a skilled team of professionals. They are committed to excellence in customer service and ensuring that every vehicle leaves their premises in top condition.
They are currently seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are restored to their pre-accident condition.
MET Technician Responsibilities:
5. Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and repair procedures.
6. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicle systems and components.
7. Remove and replace damaged parts, including panels, lights, and interior components.
8. Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and safety regulations.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress and any additional requirements.
10. Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Requirements/Experience:
11. Previous experience as an MET Technician or similar role in the automotive repair industry.
12. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and trim repair techniques.
13. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
14. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
16. Good communication skills.
17. Valid UK driver's license.
