Cygnet Hospital Bury:
Provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women, including specialist deaf services and CAMHS for adolescents. Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities, and there are communal spaces such as a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden, and woodland walkways to Elton Reservoir.
Cygnet Whitehouse:
White House is Cygnet Bury Dunes's 18-bed male acute service, providing a safe and stabilizing environment for men experiencing an acute episode of mental illness requiring emergency admission.
Your Day-to-Day:
* Work 40 hours a week
* Partner with service users, families, and stakeholders to support recovery
* Maintain contact with statutory agencies
* Lead social care needs of service users
* Ensure legal rights of service users and families are understood
* Participate actively in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
* Provide written reports to the team and other professionals
You are...
* A Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
* Possessing a relevant Social Work qualification
* Experienced or passionate about working in mental health
* Knowledgeable of safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality, equality & diversity
* An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* A team player
* Skilled in report writing with attention to detail
