The Senior Commercial manager role is responsible for overseeing the commercial, financial, and contractual performance of large-scale solar and wind portfolios across the UK and comes with a salary of £52,000 plus benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Commercial Asset Manager role
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management you will:
Lead and coordinate management of assigned solar and wind project portfolios.
Monitor income and expenditure for renewable energy operating companies.
Develop and maintain liquidity planning, budgets, and cost control measures.
Prepare and deliver clear financial and performance reports for investors, owners, and banks.
Oversee operations, maintenance, and service contracts for active projects.
Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation.
Manage insurance and warranty claims on behalf of project companies.
Liaise and collaborate with investors, banks, auditors, technical teams, and public authorities.
Organise and manage shareholder meetings, from preparation through to follow-up.
Coordinate internal reporting with client plant managers.
Approach complex, multidisciplinary challenges with structured problem-solving and effective stakeholder management.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Commercial or financial qualification (degree or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years' experience in renewable energy asset management (solar and/or wind) or real estate asset management.
Proven expertise in financial, commercial, and contract management.
Independent, detail-oriented, and resilient work approach.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (native-level or equivalent).
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
