About you:
You will be responsible for providing scrub assistance and experience for clinical procedures. You will assist the consultant and clinical team in delivering all ophthalmic care. You will be responsible for admitting and discharging patients on their theatre day. You should be caring, kind, compassionate, and able to deliver a high standard of care to all patients. Teamwork is essential to ensure our clinics run smoothly and patients have the best experience and outcomes.

Responsibilities of our Scrub Nurse:
* Adhere to principles of clinical governance.
* Manage admission and discharge of patients on theatre days.
* Administer drugs following NMC guidelines for safe handling of medicines.
* Maintain accurate records in accordance with NMC guidelines.
* Provide scrub experience for clinical procedures.
* Report any accidents or incidents appropriately.
* Assist the consultant and clinical team in delivering ophthalmic care.
* Prepare clinical areas and equipment before procedures.
* Ensure correct storage of all equipment.
* Follow all policies and procedures.
* Assist with stock control and ensure availability of supplies.
* Manage theatre equipment daily.
* Ensure patient confidentiality in line with Data Protection Act.
