Overview
The Role: To support a 67-year-old lady living in supported accommodation who has several health conditions including diabetes, chronic kidney disease, hypothyroidism, reduced mobility, schizoaffective disorder and a hearing impairment, in order to maintain her independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Provide companionship and emotional support for low mood and depression
* Encourage and support access to the local community
* Accompany trips to shops, cafes and local events
* Support with a wheelchair on outings outside the home
* Personal care (some support required)
* Household tasks

Additional information
Please note that the person undertaking this role may be requested to supply evidence of DBS clearance and/or references where appropriate.
Hours: 6 hours per week to be worked between Monday – Friday; Flexible with days and times – to be discussed
Pay: £17.95 per hour – Self-employed
