The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, a part of CE&S, leads the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing AI‑powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovative solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long‑term loyalty.

This role is flexible: you can work up to 100% from home.

Responsibilities

* Develop reusable intellectual property (IP) and content assets that scale across field teams, customers and showcase value‑based deliverables.
* Create world‑class collateral to empower internal field teams in delivering impactful customer outcomes.
* Support the Customer Success Unit (CSU) and customers in maximizing their Microsoft investments through hands‑on architecture and solution delivery.
* Identify customers’ goals for migrating to Azure, ensuring the program provides Data & Analytics solutions that deliver business value.
* Drive positive Customer Satisfaction & become a trusted advisor, soliciting feedback and understanding customer experiences with the service delivered.
* Ensure solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, reusability and reliability upon deployment.
* Provide customer/partner insights and feedback on solution effectiveness.
* Drive consumption growth by developing opportunities to enhance Customer Success and help customers extract value from their Microsoft investments.
* Unblock customer challenges by identifying resolutions for blockers and developing repeatable IP for integration with Cloud Accelerate Factory.
* Architect modern Data & Analytics solutions, applying technical knowledge to design solutions aligned with business and IT needs, leading POCs and MVPs.
* Advocate for customers, share insights and best practices, collaborate with Engineering to address key blockers and drive product improvements.
* Stay updated on market trends, collaborate with the Data, Analytics and AI technical community, and educate customers about the Azure platform.
* Accelerate customer outcomes by sharing expertise, contributing to IP creation and promoting reusability.

* Identify customers’ goals for migrating to Azure and ensure Data & Analytics solutions deliver business value.
* Drive customer satisfaction by becoming a trusted advisor and soliciting feedback.
* Ensure solutions meet high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability and reliability standards.
* Collect and provide insights from customers and partners.


Business Impact

* Drive consumption growth by developing opportunities to enhance Customer Success.
* Unblock customer challenges and develop repeatable IPs for integration with Cloud Accelerate Factory.
* Architect modern Data & Analytics solutions, creating AI‑infused platforms and leading POCs and MVPs.


Technical Leadership

* Advocate for customers and collaborate with Engineering to address blockers.
* Continuously learn market trends and educate customers on the Azure platform.
* Accelerate outcomes by contributing to IP creation and reusability.
* Maintain broad knowledge of Azure Data & AI services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and related emerging technologies.
* Lead delivery teams to meet customer expectations, troubleshoot technical issues swiftly, and orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration.

* Ability to lead and influence virtual teams to accelerate and unblock customer projects.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow‑through.
* Track record of building deep technical relationships with key stakeholders.
* Business acumen to understand customer industry and engage business decision‑makers.
* Expertise in data and AI scenarios driving innovation across industries such as financial services, retail, healthcare, etc.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, implementing data solutions with cloud technologies.
* Presentation skills for audiences ranging from senior executives to technical teams.


Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business or related field.
* Experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development/support or architecture.
* Business value: ability to convey business needs and value of proposed solutions to stakeholders.
* Trusted advisership: ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders.
* Situational fluency: self‑awareness to interpret verbal and non‑verbal cues.
* Insightful listening and asking probing questions to understand customer needs and drivers.
* Technical breadth and depth in foundation security, AI, architecture design, with specialized expertise in Azure Analytics ecosystem (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake).
* Experience designing data warehousing, lakehouse, real‑time intelligence, big data, and semantic models.
* Experience creating Data & Analytics Proof‑of‑Concepts and MVPs for production deployments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, DAX, T‑SQL, PowerShell, C#, Python (preferred) and knowledge of key competitors such as AWS, GCP, Snowflake.
* Experience shipping PySpark‑enabled data pipelines and understanding batch, streaming ETL/ELT processing.
* Preferred knowledge of data lakehouse, data mesh architectural principles.
